Located with direct access to on simple excursion trails, the chalet is also an essential stop for all trekking fans wishing to benefit from the surrounding forests for day-long or half day circuits, a simple stroll to explore the monumental park Abbé Henry (located just in front of the chalet) or the chapel of the Ermitage, or for reaching the center of Courmayeur through the path in the forest.

Connections are assured even without a car by a public shuttle service every 45 minutes from 7:44 in the morning to 6:39 in the evening directly from the hotel to the town center and the two main ski-lifts of the Courmayeur Mont-Blanc ski complex.
